Fluorogold slide bearing material cut to your size requirements.

• Fluorogold is comprised of virgin TEFLON® and special reinforcing agents. This bond yields a structural material that offers significantly higher mechanical properties than TEFLON® itself.
• Compressive creep is virtually eliminated; wear is substantially reduced. Initial deformation is decreased;the low friction and chemical inertness of TEFLON® are retained. The structural bearing surface is bonded to a back-up steel plate with a high temperature homogenous epoxy system that is cured under precise heat and pressure in hydraulic presses.
• All fluorogold bearings are factory bonded using strictly controlled, semiautomated procedures, developed to eliminate poor quality field-welded bonds.
• In all cases, a slide bearing system is composed of two elements: the upper element, with fluorogold face down, mating with the lower element with its fluorogold face up. The system is normally designed so the upper element is larger than the lower element by the dimension of the anticipated motion so that the lower element is under uniform load throughout movement and so that foreign matter will not collect on the lower element.

SPECIALTY PIPE REPAIR SLEEVES FOR INDUSTRY

• Two piece repair sleeves for process piping. The sleeves are typically used as a repair sleeve over either internal or external corrosion to regain initial pipe wall thickness.
• A sleeve can be made to any plate material thickness and length specified by your in-house engineering personnel.
• Provided with each sleeve set are two each 16 ga carbon steel backup strips for the longitudinal welds.
• Material certifications are packaged with the sleeve.
